Coffee Stains...its a good thing.
Coffee grounds, one Ivy plant, a large white urn and whalllaa. What do you have?
Out of stain, so I got creative by using my husband's coffee grounds. I forget to take a picture of the all white urn before the staining began...oops. Just rubbed the coffee grounds into the sides of the urn and let set. for 20 min. and rinse off lightly. Don't over rub or it will be to light of stain.
I think it turned out pretty good.

What is it? It is a butter press mold.
Below, is some butter presses that I found on line for sale. They are very similar to the one I bought at a garage sale some weeks ago for a $1.00. The ones below sale for $10.00 and up on ebay and Amazon, but, this is the first time I had ever seen one let alone known what it was. They come in glass, wood, metal and clay. Great for decorating in a kitchen vignette. Do you have one? Let me know and send me some pictures of them.

I just love the carved wood ones best, can you imagine buying your butter this way from the store. In the 30s and before butter was sold like this and the fancier the molded butter, the more expensive it was. Now we just buy it plain and in cubes of four in a pack.
I love this rooster butter press

What is it ? Do you know?
CeeKay, You said that you didn't know, but guessed that it is a butter press. Guess what.... you are right. I would like to know how you came to it being a butter press? Have you seen one before or just have knowledge of them? I love this butter press and its rough wood look, but the carving on it is very detailed. It makes for a great vignette with cook books, and other old kitchen items. I will be putting up some more pictures of it in a vignette display. By the way does anybody know how to get a ( follow button on my blog from google friend connect) Please I need heeeeelp. Thanks for guessing Decor. Lady

What is it? Do you know? I bought it at a garage sale thinking it was pretty interesting with the carvings on the wood. The lady I got it from had me guessing until she told me what it was. Let me know what you think it is. Next post I will reveal what it is. Until then, check out the pictures of it. Thanks Decor. Lady

A new phone or a camera???
I wanted a new camera, but my phone and my husband's phone both died at the same time. So off to AT&T to buy new ones. We each bought the IPhone 3gs. Hey, it has a camera in it sooo kinda got both. Now I only need to get a little better at taking pictures with it. Love this phone and the touch screen ... sorry my old trusted Razor phone. So now I can start blogging with pics. Alrighttttt. Do you have this phone and how do you like it?
