Antique cloches decorated for Christmas

This is my mother's antique cloches jar. I am not sure of the age, but it looks very old. There is air bubbles in the glass from the bottom to the top of the jar. The knob looks like it was made separate The knob has been cut across on the top of it when it was made. I am not an expert on cloches, but I know old when I see it. The glass is clear and not colored from being used outside.
I am not sure where my mom got it from she is 97 yrs old and is not able to tell me. I wish that I would of asked her many years ago when she was able to remember things. I just didn't think about this jar when I was younger and the age of it at the time. So many questions that I would ask her now IF ONLY I COULD. What she tells me now is "you kids be good and I love you". This cracks me up. I am 60. She had six kids and she was a great mom with lots of patience. But, she still wants us to be good. I am laughing out loud with tears in my eyes as I write this. I wish the pictures were better ,but I can't seem to get my lighting right on my pics. Enjoy the pictures.

This my cloches with silver and gold bulbs, faux strand of pearls, clear glass marbles and a few other touches for looks. I placed them in a crystal vase and set them in my cloches. I sat the cloches on a gold charger plate.

I stuck in a long plastic pik of snow flakes in the middle of the vase and added a frosted deer ornament on top.

This is my cloches empty. It stands 22 inches tall and 15 inches across.
It has a wide lip at the bottom of the base of it.
 It weights about 25 pounds

This is the crystal vase I used in my arrangement.

This is the knob on the cloches. Can you see the air bubbles in the glass.

Here is a gallon of milk to compare it to for size. I have the cloches sitting on a gold charger plate with a glass platter under that. Allow for a 1 inch and a half from the height of the jar for a true idea of the jars height.

I recently purchased this extra large jar with lid from the Good Will for $12.99.
I saw one just like it at Shop Co for $29.99 so I think I got a good deal on it.
I am going to use it for a cloches decor. soon. What will I put in it is still up for ideas.
Do you have any ideas for me?????

Does any bloggers out there have some thing similar in a cloches that would give me more
  information on mine.

Thank you for looking Humble Abode
